Annie Duke Loses in Celebrity Apprentice Finals
Anybody who has been watching Celebrity Apprentice 2 is no doubt familiar with the rivalry between Joan Rivers and Annie Duke. For those who haven’t been watching the show, let me sum up their beef against each other as quickly as possible.
Basically, Annie Duke has taken the lead on a number of projects and has been very opinionated on the show. Joan Rivers really took offense to Duke’s method of problem solving and overall manner, and has called her a number of things including Hitler and Mussolini. Of course, she went past her problems with Duke and went as far as to call all poker players white trash too.
Well Celebrity Apprentice 2 has finally come to a close and winner was announced. Much to my chagrin, and the rest of the poker world, Joan Rivers was able to defeat Duke in the heads-up finals and take home the title of the Celebrity Apprentice. Not only did Rivers win, but she also managed to insult the poker world one more time on her way out.
While Duke was giving her closing argument about why she should win and making yet another poker analogy, Rivers said that she was tired of all this poker talk and stated, “I was told all of your money is all mafia money.”
Not only does this quote draw further ire from the poker community, but it also shows just how little Rivers actually knows about poker in general. I’m sure that everyone who logs onto online poker is involved in organized crime in one way or another whether they’re a recreational player or a full-timer. I’d better get out of the game myself before I start dumping bodies in rivers and extorting business owners.

If you go back and watch the boardroom again, you’ll see that Joan’s comment about “mafia” money was said only to make a point.
Annie said that Joan bullied the designers into quitting - she hadn’t seen it in person but that was “what she had been told.”
So Joan replied that Annie’s money was mafia money - she didn’t know that first hand but that was “what she had been told.”
Joan was not seriously saying that Annie’s money was mafia money. She was making a point that You Can’t Believe Everything You Hear. She might just as easily have said, “you’re a bug-eyed alien from Neptune. I haven’t seen it myself but that’s what I’ve heard.”

I’m with you. Annie was the true winner. She played a better game, never insulted in a board room, and didn’t interrupt! Clearly Trump plays favorites. I’ll never watch that show again.

I cannot believe Trump selected Joan Rivers over Annie Duke!! Joan Rivers is just a loud, racists hypocrite. She’s argumentative and new listens to anyone’s ideas, etc. Way to go Trump!!

Well obviously Annie was not the winner since Joan was named the Celebrity Apprentice.
Obviously she is better at playing poker than impressing Mr. Trump.
I loved how it was so obvious she thought she had one and then her face showed how dissappointed she was to have lost.
She deserved it. She treated Melissa, Joan and all others on the show like crap and Joan deserved her win.
Annie lost the final task 3/5 won by Joan.
