Tom Dwan could be the Latest Full Tilt Player

Along with the Lock Ness Monster and Bigfoot, the fact that Tom “Durrrr” Dwan is still unsigned by any poker rooms has to be among the greatest mysteries in the world.  Dwan is not only an accomplished live tournament player, but he is arguably the best high stakes online cash player in the world.  And the numerous Million Dollar Challenges he is issuing to people prove this point too! Mostly when people search for poker online, they are looking for a poker room to play in and I would recommend to go with 888.com. Who knows, you might be the next Dwan!

Still, he has yet to attach his name to any specific poker room which has me wondering if his demands are just too high or something. There are hardly any “web only” poker rooms available, all the poker rooms wants you to download poker to get started. After all, we live in a day and age where some no-name can get signed to a poker room after winning one tourney.  So what’s up with one of the world’s top cash game players being unsigned?

Well Howard Lederer recently addressed this issue on the ESPN.com show Inside Deal where he said that there is definitely some interest in signing Dwan - especially since he plays there all of the time.  Lederer’s exact words were, “I’m sure that Full Tilt would love to have him.  I think it’s just a matter of Full Tilt and Durrrr working it out, and working out a fair price.”

Howard summed up his statement by mentioning, “I don’t think there’s anything in the way of that happening, except for both sides deciding to make it happen.  Obviously Durrrr is an enormously talented player, one of these days it would be great if he were representing the site.”

I’ve always wondered why Durrrr isn’t at Full Tilt yet since that’s where he makes a killing.  But it looks like I won’t have to wonder any longer after the deal is done.
