Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle off of Amazing Race
As a sign that poker is becoming more and more mainstream, poker hotties Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle were invited to appear on the hit CBS reality show Amazing Race. And the duo was definitely not at a loss for entertainment value since both Ho and Michelle caused controversy as soon as they stepped on the scene.
It all started when they said that they were both volunteer workers for a charity in order to gain sympathy from the other contestants. The truth is though that both Michelle and Ho are famous pro poker players who’ve made quite a bit of money on the felt. Eventually, the two were exposed and so they already got off to a bad start with the other contestants.
Still, Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle were able to last for a few episodes on the Amazing Race by finishing well enough in each race to help themselves advance. But the good finishes came to a grinding halt in the latest episode where the two failed to conquer a game called High Striker.
The episode began with the contestants traveling to Amsterdam to try and reach a statue first. Ho and Michelle were able to accomplish this segment of the race pretty easily, but the trouble started when they had to play a game called High Striker where one attempts to ring a bell by using a mallet.
After struggling mightily at High Striker, the duo tried to play golf instead where they were equally as bad. Michelle and Ho went back and forth between the two games before they were forced to give up and concede last place. After their elimination, Ho and Michelle ended up placing 6th out of 12 teams overall.
